Still no word on Nvidia’s Kepler despite reports of the possibility of Nvidia showing it off to select VIPs at CES 2012; however, according to VR-Zone sources, Nvidia isn’t planning any paper launches of their Kepler GPUs.
Nvidia’s current plan is to launch “…the GeForce Kepler when the company is able to insure hard availability and have all of its partners covered.” This will mean that Kepler GPUs should be available for purchase on the launch date.
Of course, we will continue to keep our eyes peeled for any updated information from Nvidia, but it looks like it’ll be rumor after rumor until late Q1 or early Q2. (March or April)
