Well, the wait was long, but it seems like Nvidia has finally gotten around to launching the GK104 based GeForce GTX 680 graphics card.

The new 28nm, Kepler based graphics card is packing some serious firepower bringing an insane 1536 CUDA cores (3x more than the last generation flagship GTX 580), 2GB of GDDR5 running off a 256 bit memory interface, 1006MHz core clock with the ability to boost up to 1056Mhz, and an effective memory clock of 6GHz.

Additionally, Nvidia is also introducing some cool new features as well such as “GPU Boost” and TXAA anti-aliasing. You might ask, how much juice would it take to run this beast? Well, how about a TDP of only 195w? You might also ask, well how much does it cost? $499.

Yeah, Looks like Nvidia’s laying the smackdown and they’ve definitely brought something amazing to the table.
