According to DonanimHaber, AMD is planning to price their AMD Radeon HD 7970 at about 500 Euros and according to the guys over at VR-Zone, this will translate to roughly about $550 USD.
If this pricing is true, this is one helluva expensive GPU especially when compared to the current Radeon HD6970 series pricing of under $400. Of course, we will probably see full pricing details as the HD7970 is released on January 9th, 2012 so stay tuned.
