Razer has added a new model to its Razer Blade gaming laptop line in the form of an ultrabook and a graphics expansion dock.

The Razer Blade Stealth is the smallest of the Razer Blade series. With a weight of 2.75 lbs, it further emphasizes power in mobility.  The Razer Blade Stealth ultrabook comes equipped with an Intel Core i7-6500U CPU with Intel HD 520 integrated graphics and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. It can be configured with up to a 512GB PCIe SSD, albeit this option is only available on the model with the UHD display. Networking is handled with a wireless AC network card with Bluetooth 4.1. The Razer Blade Stealth is also the world’s first ultrabook with per-key RGB backlight.

The Razer Core graphics dock connects to the Razer Blade Stealth via the thunderbolt port disguised in an USB type-C port. It supports a single double-wide, full-length PCIe x16 graphics card. It also sports a built-in 500W power supply, several expansion ports including Gigabyte Ethernet, 4x USB 3.0 ports, and Razer Chroma RGB lighting in two zones.

Razer is rarely synonymous with price efficiency. The company is well-known for its premium products and pricing. To attract a wider audience, however, Razer has focused on making the Razer Blade Stealth affordable for everyone. You can purchase the Razer Blade Stealth ultrabook on its own for $999 in the base configuration. Razer has yet to announce the pricing for the dock, but we’ll have more info on that as soon as its released. The Razer Blade Stealth ultrabook will start shipping in February 2016, while the Razer Core is expected to ship sometime in the first half of 2016.
