Cooler Master has just launched its newly updated MasterCase Maker 5, a flexible, customizable mid-tower designed for modders and builders alike.
Cooler Master’s MasterCase series aim to give users the ultimate flexibility in system design. Leveraging Cooler Master’s FreeForm modular system, users are free to configure just about any component within the system. Everything from the front panel to the drive bays can be removed or added to adapt to the space demands of the hardware.
Several welcoming changes were made with the MasterCase Maker 5. Its front panel I/O has been overhauled to include a USB type C port, LED lighting strip control, and fan speed control. The top and front mesh have been covered with a removable plate to help improve the aesthetics and control noise. The panels are easily removableĀ as they’re held using magnets instead of clips.
The most eye-catching part of the MasterCase Maker 5 is its customizability. Additional parts such as tempered glass side panel, additional top cover kit, cooling brackets, and case fans can all be purchased from the cmstore. This is great news for modders who like to etch custom designs on their case.
The Cooler Master MasterCase Maker 5 is available now on Newegg with a retail price of $189.99.
