After the recent report that Samsung is now halting production of the Galaxy Note 7 due to the devices potentially catching on fire, Samsung recently released a new statement stating that they’ve instructed all carriers and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung is halting sales as they work with regulatory agencies in South Korea, China, and the United States to investigate the issues of the Note 7.
All major telecom providers in the United States are currently accepting returns and exchanges for the Note 7. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is urging all Galaxy Note 7 customers to power down their devices and return them.
