With CES closing in on us in the next week, early tech announcements have been rapidly circulating online and one of the most interesting is Gigabyte’s BRIX platform with the addition of the GB-GZ1DTi7-1070-NK-GW and the GB-GZ1DTi7-1080-NK-GW.
With a physical footprint of just 276 mm x 384 mm x 128 mm, the Gigabyte BRIX GT series is in competition with the Asus G20 and MSI Vortex, both of which offer stellar performance within a tiny package. In order to combat the cooling limitations of such a high performance build in such a small package, the BRIX GT case features automated vents that balance noise and air flow similar to how the ASUS G20’s front panel and angular shape directs noise away from the user.
In terms of specifications, the BRIX GT GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 variants both promise very similar features with the obvious graphical performance differences and memory capacities.
