Samsung now has the biggest monitor on the market with the announcement of its CHG90 HDR gaming monitor.
The CHG90 comes in a whopping 49-inch form factor. Yep. You read that right – a full 49 inches. For those of you yearning for a larger, wider monitor monitor, it doesn’t get bigger than this.
Having a 49″ monster monitor erected in your face can make your head spin and that’s why the CHG90 features an 1800R curvature for your viewing pleasure. With all that wideness is also a wider resolution of 3,840×1080, the combined resolution of two 1080p monitors placed next to each other.
Being one of Samsung’s top-end displays, the CHG90 uses Samsung’s QLED (Quantum LED) backlighting technology. The panel covers 125% of the Adobe sRGB color gamut and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, making it equally capable in both web graphics and film creation. The giant monitor is also gaming friendly, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD’s FreeSync 2 technology to reduce screen tearing without compromising performance.
The Samsung CHG90 is available for pre-order on Amazon for $1,499.
