Well, it’s been only a couple hours since the launch of AMD’s Radeon HD 7970 and the guys over at VR-Zone have already run a whole bunch of tests on it. One of the tests I found quite interesting is the PCI-E 3.0 test they’ve conducted to see if PCI-E 2.0 will bottleneck the HD 7970.
Anyway, long story short they ran the customary 3D Mark 11 run as well as ComputeMark and the performance difference is <1%. Drop by the link below for more details.
