Remember a couple days ago when Canard PC leaked the first AMD Ryzen review? Well, it appears that not all the information was presented in French. Some keen eyed Reddit users recently discovered that Canard PC also embedded a hidden message written in binary code for readers to find. The code is as follows:
010110100110010101101110010011110100001101000000010000010110100101110010001111010011010101000111
Using a binary to ASCII converter, the code can be translated into “ZenOC@Air=5G“.
While no accompanying information such as voltage required, what type of air cooler was used, what type of thermal paste was used, how stable the overclock is, etc. was provided with the message, this does seem to indicate that the upcoming Ryzen CPUs may be able to achieve some significant overclocks with just conventional cooling methods.
