If you are an avid gamer and someone dedicated to making this world a better place to live, you’re in luck! Thanks to Steam’s collaboration with THQ, it is now possible to do both (for a limited time) with a single swipe using your credit card… and it’s not going to cost you all that much either!
What Steam and THQ came up with is something called the Humble Bundle Package. The bundle contains the following titles: Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, Company of Heroes, and Saints Row The Third. For every purchase, a fraction of the money goes to the American Red Cross and Child’s Play. The minimal contribution amount is a mere $1, but you must pay at least the average contribution (~$5.65) to receive Saints Row 3. If you wish to direct all your contribution to a single organization, the website has a slider that allows you to manually adjust the distribution of funds.
