Designed for businesses and enterprise level clients, the KC400 is equipped with numerous safety measures to ensure data integrity. It provides end-to-end data path protection, SmartECC multi-level error correction, and SmartRefresh to refresh blocks when necessary. All of these features translate to improved data retention and and increased reliability.
Driving the KC400 SSD is a Phison S3110-S10 octo-channel, quad-core controller. The KC400 can achieve up to 550MB /540MB/s in sequential read/write and up to 86,000/89,000 IOPS in 4k random read/write. The 1TB model can handle up to 1600TBW, which equals to 0.89 DWPD in lifespan cycle of 5 years. Kingston also provides the free Kingston SSD Manager to help users monitor the drive’s health.
The Kingston SSDNow KC400 will be available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB models. Pricing and availability information has yet to be released.
