Today, Phanteks has announced its latest update to its lineup of premium chassis: the EVOLV mATX Tempered Glass Edition. Like the EVOLV ATX TG and Enthoo Luxe TG before it, the EVOLV mATX TG is a mostly aesthetic facelift of the original, adding premium tempered glass side panels and RGB lighting.
Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV mATX Tempered Glass Edition
The EVOLV mATX TG adds tempered glass side panels to an already pretty solid base that was the original EVOLV mATX. The case also features a number of improvements over some of the other tempered-glass cases in Phanteks’ lineup including magnetic hinges with swivel to open and allow the user to easily get in and out of the chassis for maintenance without having to lift the rather heavy tempered glass panels. This solves a major critique we had with the EVOLV ATX TG and it is great to see Phanteks responding so well to constructive criticism.
Another improvement with the side panels is the tinted design of the back glass side panel, which helps to hide your cable clutter. This was another concern of ours during the review of the EVOLV ATX TG, and we only hope these great improvements make its way to that chassis at some point too.
Another improvement with the side panels is the tinted design of the rear glass side panel, which helps to hide your cable clutter. This was another concern of ours during the review of the EVOLV ATX TG, and we only hope these great improvements make its way to that chassis at some point too. As we can see in the photos, only a small cutout is visible to show off your SSDs, while the opposite side remains transparent to show off your main components.
The improved internal layout has been optimized to provide support for longer graphics cards, and liquid cooling options are at the ready with support for either a 360mm radiator at the front or a 280mm at the top. As expected, the chassis features Phanteks signature velcro-tie cable management system. The integrated RGB illumination can be synced with Phanteks RGB products and RGB motherboards when upgraded with a Phanteks RGB LED adapter.
The chassis will be available in three Phanteks signature finishes; Satin Black, Anthracite Grey, and Galaxy Silver. Pricing for the chassis will be set at $129.99 US. Specific availability is still unknown, however, we’re sure will hear more from Phanteks on the subject very soon.
