Display manufacturer ViewSonic today announced a new series of high-end gaming monitors at CES 2016. The all-new ViewSonic XG series consists of four new models while ViewSonic also introduces four new gaming monitors into their long-standing VX series.
XG2703-GS
The XG2703-GS features a 27-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440p) SuperClear IPS panel with a 165Hz maximum refresh rate and support for NVIDIA’s G-Sync variable refresh rate technology. It will be available for an MSRP of $1,217.00 (USD) and starts shipping March.
XG2401
The XG2401 is a 24-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) monitor packed with features like a 144Hz refresh rate, and AMD’s FreeSync variable refresh rate technology. It sports a 1ms response time and ViewSonic SmartSync technology automatically selects the best refresh rate, response time, and lowest input lag needed in FPS games. It will be available for an MSRP of $404.00 (USD) and starts shipping late January
XG2701
The XG2701 is essentially a 27-inch version of the XG2401. Sporting the same Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time in addition to AMD’s FreeSync and ViewSonic’s SmartSync technologies. It will be available for a MSRP of $529.00 (USD) and starts shipping late January.
XG2700-4K
The 27-inch XG2700-4K monitor delivers 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution and SuperClear IPS LCD with AMD’s FreeSync technology and a 5ms response time. This monitor includes DisplayPort 1.2a and HDMI 2.0 and supports refresh rates up to 60Hz. It will be available for a MSRP of $913.00 (USD) and starts shipping late January.
In addition to the XG series, ViewSonic also introduced four new gaming monitors to its VX series.
The new 22-inch VX2257-mhd, 24-inch VX2457-mhd, and 27-inch VX2757-mhd Full HD (1920 x 1080) monitors feature 2ms response time and support for AMD’s FreeSync technology. The VX2257-mhd will be available for an MSRP of $201.00 (USD) and is available now, the VX2457-mhd will be available for an MSRP of $228.00 (USD) and starts shipping February, the VX2757-mhd will be available for an MSRP of $323.00 and is available now.
Finally, the VX2776-Smhd features a 27-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080) SuperClear IPS display with 178/178 degree wide viewing angle, and connectivity options including VGA, HDMI, and DP built-in stereo speakers. It will be available for a MSRP of $317.00 (USD) and starts shipping April.
